I left my partner with strict instructions to bring home some doughnuts from All Day Donuts, after I missed out on them eons ago when we dined at Juanita Peaches. Yes, I still remember. Deprive me of sweets and I’ll never forget you.

Anyway, all is forgiven now. 5 doughnuts later, I’m a happy girl. In case you’re wondering, yes, I did ate all 5 in one go, but no, I did not finish all 5 in one go. That’s why I now have 5 half-eaten doughnuts in the box.

The doughnuts were soft, puffy and light. If I had no will power, I’m sure there would be none left to reward my partner with for completing his mission.

The Strawberry Cheesecake and Creme Brulee were almost impossible not to finish. One was filled with a creamy and indulgent cheesecake center, and the other was ozzing gooey custard with each bite. The strawberry icing was just a little bit subtle, but it was just the right touch of sweetness for me. The caramelised sugar added a delicate crunch and a dark smoky flavour – perfection!

The Iced Vovo was quite the stunner too. Dessicated coconut, pink icing, with a dollop of raspberry jam in the middle, and you have a delicious mix of sweet and tart. The Don Homer tasted like bubblegum flavour to me. Fruity would be the best way to describe it.

Least favorite was the Caramel Cookies, which could do with a bit more caramel, and a bit more cookies too. Still I like how it wasn’t overly sweet, as was the case with the others.

Service was reportedly super friendly and patiently waited while my partner read out the list of flavours to me, twice. Definitely worth a return visit to try out the rest of the flavours!
