I’ve been here twice so far and was impressed both times. The paratha here is so amazing that I always over order so I can take some home. The menu is very large yet the quality of each dish is consistently very good, full of flavour and perfectly balanced on the pallet and nothing feels heavy. Last night I ordered an extra serve of the saffron chicken skewers because the flavour was so unique and the chicken was so juicy and tender. I will definitely be back.
4 pax weekday dinner, Groupon. Dishes which stood out – Maligh fried fish & Creamy Cheesy chicken for starters, Tandoori Chicken Tikka under Kebab Bites, Dumpukht Lamb Biryani for Main (Signature Bites). The Classic Chicken Biryani was pretty good too, but the Koobideh Kebab wasn’t particularly tasty. All in all, I wish they were still doing this deal under Groupon, I’d be back in a flash!
Really delightful food! If you want to try something new in the Pakistani/Iranian cuisine…then Baluchi is the one to go.
We tried the Non Veg Starter which included 3 kinds of dips, salad and a naan, Creamy Cheese Chick, Sajji Lamb Raan and butter naans. Absolutely delicious. The Lamb Raan takes you back to the traditional taste of Balochi/Afghan/Iranian meat..PERFECTLY cooked and tender.
The Non Veg starters were spiced very well and tasteful. And woow the Creamy Chick you must try. Similar to a Mushroom Chick Sauce but more kick to it! No complaints with there naans.
Their menu had allot of variety which I loved. It means you could go there & try different things more often. They did an amazing job by packing our food perfectly to take home and service was not a let down, everyone was kind and lovely. Their decor was soo cute and lovely. Hopefully we go there again soon and they maintain this level of service and quality of food forever, if not better.
Average good food with really quick and amazing service. I used Groupon and they were very accommodating with the booking as I hadnt made one specifying its a Groupon reservation. Moreover they were flexible with the choice of drink options and offer good suggestions on what to eat. Overall good portion size, wonderful service and acceptable food.
Ordered chapli kabab- flavorsome but a bit heavy on digestion
baluchi pulao- a bit bland but good tender meat … a spicy chutney would be a better condiment (tomato)
chicken cheese- seemed very Italian … quite a misfit with the menu.
This restaurant is a real find, my new fav curry house. The cuisine is from the Baluchi province of Iran, very similar to Pakistani/North Indian, with tandoori and other favourites. Three of us feasted for a little over $20/head. Service was great, the hosts very friendly, and the dining room is spacious, well-appointed and uncrowded. Standouts were the veggie platter and the sumptuous Quetta lamb. It’s BYO only, so come prepared and save yourself even more money.
We went to this little gem last night as a group of 4 and we couldn’t believe the quality of both the service and food. The owner / host was very welcoming and our waitress was also excellent in explaining the array of dishes. No alcohol on the menu but bottle shop only a few meters away. We had a variety of dishes and all were very tasty and generous portions. This place has only been open for a month and no doubt, as the word gets out, it’s going to kick some goals. The dishes are delicious and authentic. Very impressed with both the vegetarian and meat dishes. In fact they were outstanding. Great flavor & textures. Not overly spiced or over cooked. Keep up the good work Guys! We will be back!!!
Tried out this resto using Groupon deal. It’s Baluchistan cuisine so it’s mixed between Iranian and Pakistani cuisines. We made booking prior to visit and restaurant was busy. We ordered chai tea for drink, vegetables platter for starter, tikka boti chicken and baghali polo for main. We requested our chai to come before meal. After sometime the waiter came back and told us the baghali polo is not available so we chosed Baluchi polo instead. It was rice dishes with lamb pieces, food was disappointed, rice wasn’t tasty and served with only 2 big chunks of lamb bone with hardly any meats, there was few pieces of lamb bone in the rice and big pieces of cinnamon stick and no more meat. Then the waiter brought us some chicken pieces dishes but after sometimes she came back and told us it wasn’t our order and she swapped it with another chicken dishes with creamy sauce. Then after sometimes another waiter came back with the same chicken dishes that the other waiter said it was wrong order. The creamy chicken dish was nice and tasty with the charcoal taste. However the other chicken dishes (tika boti chicken) was not that nice. After sometime i was asking the waiter about our entree, veggie platter, however she said we already had creamy chicken which we didn’t even order. By this time we couldn’t be bother to wait anymore and just cancel the order. After asked few times ours chai finally arrived, these chai we were asking to deliver before meals tho. So in conclusion it wasn’t a nice dining experiences, service was not good as waiter seems confuse and kept sending incorrect orders. We won’t be back.
