Great food, great service, great price! Went for dinner there tonight. Had the spring rolls, sizzling beef platter and the tofu rice paper rolls all of it was amazing. I will be back again for sure!
The portion sizes exceeded my expectations. Good serving sizes for $8 spring roll noodles, $7 veg tofu stir fry with rice. Lovely wait staff. Home style cooking. Great having a down to earth Vietnamese joint this end of Sydney road.
I’ve been here a few times and it’s always the same: really yummy, fresh vietfood. The portions are generous and the staff are lovely.
Defs give it a try!
Amidst the continuing success of the Green Field’s first establishment, Green Field Noodle House was born. Essentially the same concept of affordable Vietnamese cuisine is replicated with a few alterations to the menu.
Honestly, the beef pho was disappointing, the broth was extremely sweet and the meat was lackluster. Can’t complain about the size much since it was only $8.
The service was a little slow; only one person as wait staff and another as cashier.
Green field noodle house accomplishes exactly what it sets out to achieve.
For those of you who don’t know, green field noodle house is the sister shop, to its well established, more rounded, older sibling, down opposite Albert St. on Sydney Rd.
It was started with the intention of being a very affordable, fresh and tasty option on Sydney road, and it emphatically succeeds.
Small dish size can be attributed to the fact that mains are 7 dollars, and starters are $5, and on Sydney road these days nothing rivals that value.
The service is wonderful, warm and friendly, with dishes arriving promptly, packed full of flavour.
Do yourself a favour and discover a new local favourite.
The food is very fresh.. small potions and tasty but average.. the noodle salad is good very basic. peanut sauce on the chicken skewers was one of the best I had. I ordered an Iced Vietnamese coffee which was only filled half way which is the large size… The floors are just a greasy as its sister store down the road so wear slip resistant shoes. And make sure you use the toilet at home before you come here because they don’t know how to clean poo off the walls of the bathrooms…
