Walked into a noisy homely restaurant with a lot of chit chat going on from each side. The decoration was good and authentic. The music is soft instrumentals from the hills. If one is from the north east india, it feels like home.
The menu is authentic nepali and food is fresh done. That’s one reason why serving takes a while. The curtlery are also authentic bronze.
The food is good. Chicken Momo is a must try. We ordered the chicken liver grill for entree. That was heavenly.

The BBQ tofu skewers on rice is simple but well done. It paired nicely with a side of eggplant potato curry and a starter of channa and soft, chewy roti. Also couldn’t pass up the veg momos, which are served steamed. All in all, this is a top pick for Nepalese in Melbourne and definitely in the Brunswick area.
