When I heard this restaurant serves parota the Indian way I was so excited. Because I had my pregnancy cravings for nice saucy non veg gravy and parota.. Good things first nice choice of menu which covers some authentic Indian curries and bread. The ambience was Uninviting and to our disappointment the heating in the hall didn’t help in peak winter. We ordered chicken curry , parota and Kothu parota. I should definitely mention the curry was too good like you get commonly in India. But I could smell & taste the oil in plain and kothu parota. Otherwise the food was okie. This place is good some authentic common non veg curry and worth the price.
Quick service, friendly staff, decent food. Great for a quick bite on a Sunday night. Tried the Lamb Rogan Josh and quite enjoyed it. Decent tomato flavours and good spice level (go spicy, it’s not over the top). Could use thickening up a bit if I was going to be fussy, but a great take on a curry staple. Some other customers were pretty happy with their Dosa, so I’ll have to return to find out what that’s about. Malabar Hut is worth a look.
Best food around. Had Biryani and Kerala paratha with chicken tikka. Must try place for best authentic and nicest food in town.. Friendly staff, good music and ambience.
Fabulous Dosa!! We had a great meal at Malabar Hut, lovely service and excellent Dosa. The Masala Chicken Dosa was great, thin crisp Dosa with a smoky chicken filling and great sides. This is definitely a hidden gem.
This restaurant will remind you of that authentic South Indian restaurant vibe that you experience in India. This place reminded me of Kerala. I ordered a Paneer Masala Dosa, the complimentary sambhar and chutney were better than what I’ve had in other Indian restaurants. I had Paneer filling after a really long time (tired of having tofu here) so I really liked the dosa. It was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the ambience gives you a typical Indian family restaurant feel.I tried their chicken Dosa as well, it wasn’t spicy though but still tasted delicious. I’m coming back here again. 🙂
