Inedible, horrible curry… you get what you pay for. Upon providing feedback to the store an apology was offered with a change of meal. I did not want anything else from the menu.
This is my go-to place for quick take away Japanese. My son and I eat here very regularly. It’s always been consistent. Sure, it’s not fine dining but it doesn’t pretend to be! It’s cheap and quick and tasty. Perfect for a quick lunch break or pick up a lazy dinner when out doing the shopping at Barkley Square. And the girls behind the counter are always just so sweet and lovely! What’s not to love?
I had the chicken teriyaki don. Every single piece of chicken was over cooked and tough. The sauce tasted burnt and there were probably three pieces of vegetable in the entire thing. Would not go again or recommend at all.
Great value for money. Incredibly good tasting food and very filling. The staff are fantastic. I visit daily and have never been disappointed. I recommend this place 100%
A great place to eat without having to spend too much! I ordered Okonomiyaki and Yasai Don.
The Okonomiyaki did not seem like it was made to order, but it actually was a lot better than some of the Okonomiyaki that I’ve had at fancy japanese restaraunts. For the cheap cost, i’d say it was definitely worth it. The Yasai don was great, though not a large variety in the vegetables, but nonetheless was enjoyable to eat. Would love to try the other dishes!
Microwaved curry with tasteless boiled chicken, and the chicken was boiled separately with the curry sauce… So the chicken was not only tasteless, but also had a stale mouthfeel… I should stop trying Chinese bento, I really should.
The food was just okay! However, nothing all that great about the food here. The staffs were really friendly though. Not a place I would come back to try again!
