After coming in few times I am convinced to say food is average at best and disappointing in general. True, it is relatively cheap but it becomes not that cheap after you taste what you actually pay for. The staff was quite friendly, although it couldn’t justify the poor taste of the food.
Good hearty food at Barkley square – thats what Pos kitchen is about. Their lunch special with teriyaki beef/chicken rice and soup/water is what I generally go for. Good value and filling and fast for lunch break options, the staff is friendly although I did went once and the staff was new so didnt really know about the menu options. Overall a great cheap eat place for some hearty food.
K: Went to visit this cute little restaurant tucked in the heart of Barkly Square shopping centre. Ordered a Chicken and Beef teriyaki Don and was somewhat surprised with the taste. It had a very Chinese takeaway sort of taste which isn’t bad by any measure, but I expected a more Japanese taste. Miso soup was average and there was an abundance of sauce which made it very tasty and juicy.
Service was good and ambience is as expected of an establishment within a shopping centre. Would visit again if I was needing an Asian cuisine fix and would recommend only if you are seeking a quick fix as opposed to a life changing or hearty meal.
