    Cosy little cafe in Brunswick.
Love the ambient here. Food was good and decent in price and portion. Coffee was a little weak even you ordered strong latte. Probably have to ask for extra shot for next time. My flat white was milky. Staff was nice but some seems not in the mood to work here but overall is ok experience if you didnt expect a lot.
    Timtam pancakes was delicious.

Set in an old cottage just off Brunswicks Sydney Road (that is believed to be the caretakers cottage for the old prison), Rogue District is probably one of the cosiest cafes youll see. Its full of laid-back character and fresh food, giving you options of cosy seating inside, a bright and lively seating area out front, and a smaller more intimate courtyard through the back.

Rogue district have a simply brunch menu with all the things you need. The Sticky Date Hotcakes are very popular here and a must try but I personally love their Chilli Eggs! On this particular day (I have been multiple times) my partner in crime and I ordered the Chilli Eggs, of course, and banana bread. Both delish! To drink was a Matcha Latte and Short Black. Their coffee is by Reverence and is exceptional and always consistent same goes for their Matcha!

    Service? Top notch.
Wrap up: Somewhere youll want to make your new Brunswick Brunch home.

The super salad here is one of my favourite dishes in Melbourne. Sure it’s simple, but so fresh and healthy (although I combat that a bit by adding a massive serve of fried haloumi). The baristas here also really know what they’re doing. I’ve never had a bad coffee. One other notable dish is the rich but so delicious greyere and leek croquette.

We came here on on of the windiest, wettest of days, so sitting outside at the front wasnt an option. However on a nice day, I think it would be a beautiful spot to sit – all park benches and umbrellas with the stone building backdrop. As it was, we must have also gone at a busy time so we were seated in the undercover courtyard area out the back. This had heating and was ok but for the gusts of wind (it really was a miserable day). The staff were really understanding and accommodating though and moved us inside at the next available opportunity. The staff continued their friendly and efficient service inside too. The food was tasty, good portion sizes and coffee delish! Its also child and pet friendly.
Would love to come back on a warm day and would happily recommend.
