Terrible. Guy taking my order was surly and rude. The table I sat at (only free one) was filthy and nobody cleaned it. The smell of burnt coffee was very strong so I didn’t bother ordering one, and grabbed a chai latte instead. They used a horrible powder, it was all clumped at the bottom and the drink was sickly sweet. I also ordered a toasted cheese & tomato croissant which was not only stale, but cold on the edges and boiling in the center.
Great coffee. Best on campus! Lovely service as well.
Best coffee at La Trobe, and maybe in the Northern suburbs. I don’t know what these people put in that coffee, but I can’t stop drinking it
Exactly the best soy coffee in the campus!! I’ve almost tried all coffee shops at the campus but couldn’t find better than them. Service is usually quick and soy latte is always serving in same perfect quality. Especially male baristas( sorry don’t know your names guys) but really good at this coffee making job. Making my library hours better. Thanks a lot :))
Addictive, perfect for the caffeine fix!. Not only does this place offer good coffee for campus, but some better coffee when compared to many places off campus. The service is always friendly and prompt, and despite the often large lines stretching back into the library of people waiting to order, the time never falters and your coffee arrives within a couple of minutes.
The coffee itself I have found to be better for milk-based coffees, as there are no distinct flavours when drunk black. A latte with the blend gives a very smooth taste; slightly nutty and earthy also.
The food is nice too, with the miniature slices being a perfect bite size snack, or the more substantial muffins or baguettes a nice fresh change from the other fast food on campus. I’m yet to have anything dine-in, but there is some selection of seating down the side of the cafe if you are inclined to sit.
Overall a clear winner. Prices are reasonable and it’s in a perfect location, right in front of the Agora. Give it a go if you’re studying here or just otherwise visiting.
Simply loveeeee the chocolate croissant but they seem to run out of them real quick:-( wish they cud stock more of them… Guys, u must hav ’em… Not to be missed…
Best coffee on campus. Great coffee, especially when made by Guy and/or Daniel. They have a nice rotation of single origin coffee for a minimal fee.
The only place to drink coffee on campus!
