Love a good local bakery. Alas, this isnt one of them. Well, if you consider their hot food… I didnt try their sweet bakes. The sausage roll and quiche were too salty, lacking any other flavour and didnt taste fresh.
Best sangas, Bahn mi rolls and jam doughnuts going around with kind and friendly service.

Extremely fortunate to have found this gem a couple of years ago and have been eating my way through the menu ever since!
Owner Lyn and staff are all very welcoming and lovely people and which only compliments the yummy bakery delights. The pies are delicious (mushroom for me, but hard to split a favorite) pasties, sausage rolls and all the usual suspects are quality home made yummyness.
For the sweeties, treat yourself to a donut an apple cake or eclair, and thank me for it later!
Now, listen up, lets get serious…..without any doubt, if you like a Vietnamese roll….your search for the Holy grail ends here, and it ends now. Bahn Mi features highly on the top of my anytime foods and the rolls made here are bar none the best I have ever had (and from a pretty large sample group let me assure you!) Ive had them hot, cold, sweet, savoury, sticky, dry crispy and soft, none of which have had the ability to decide for me what Im having for lunch tomorrow!
Highly, highly recommended…buy many at once, but keep it on the lowdown or the secret will get out.
The very best sandwiches and freshly made. In particular are their egg & lettuce sandwiches with home made mayonnaise. The staff are polite & friendly. Coffee is excellent too.
One of the best bakeries out there!!!!! Fresh, lots of selection and the owner is one of the friendliest people you will meet!!! Highly recommend the pies and sandwiches:)
For years now we’ve been coming here to Tally Ho Bakery to buy our baguettes. We use them for our home style Banh Mi.
Homemade Vietnamese rolls are soooo yummy and fairly easy to make. But you must have a good baguette and this bakery is consistently good.
The owner lady is a scream, understandably unimpressed that we’ve never had her Banh-Mi. But to her credit she still sells us her perfect rolls wherever she has some spare. Other places often won’t/don’t do that. We know. We’ve tried. Lol.
If you’d like to try homemade banh-mi just lettuce know in the comments below and we’d be happy to share some tips.
Little bakery with lovely staff who are always happy to serve, food is typical of a bakery and always tastes great, the pies are particularly worth trying
