    Short version is: drive on.

Detailed version: I can’t believe places like this still exist. I can only assume that maybe either some locals with more money than sense come here, or they have plenty of first timers, like us. As others have put in their reviews, who is giving this place the ? Friends of the chef or proprietor? It’s nowhere near worthy of the 5 .

Atmosphere is unappealing. Small, dated local restaurant that looks like a person’s dining room.

The meat is not great. My porterhouse had tiny mouthfuls of ok, but mostly it was grissly and very chewy. It was a nice colour inside though which was just a tease. This was $45. A very poor salad accompanied the meal to share between two. It was a yellow colour A bowl of chips was $15. Absolute rip off.

We also had the scotch fillet (won’t repeat quality if food, just refer to above). Didn’t bother trying the fillet as it was an extra $10. Price is very expensive, but mostly because it wasn’t a great meal. Drink prices are also way above what they should be for a place like this.

    Overall, refer to opening statement.

Love this place. Honestly the best steaks ever. They give you delicious sauces on the side and they just taste amazing with the steak. Even the salad and chips are tasty. Lovely old and homey atmosphere to be in. It is expensive but it’s totally worth it. I just wish their opening hours were more consistent. Defs recommend it !

Came here with 3 friends, don’t know how they got some of there reviews. There is no atmosphere and you’re basically on a milk bar strip. The steak was chewy and did not melt in your mouth, no sides for the dishes just a salad to share for the table. The price was rediculous close to 75 per person with a couple of non alcoholic drinks and an entre which was shared. Wouldn’t return ever.
