The place was packed when I visited mid week on a cold winter’s night – would definitely recommend booking. It’s tiny which, coupled with the friendly service, gives the place a very nice atmosphere. The food was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend the broccoli pizza, which is topped with broccoli, gorgonzola and chilli. The flavours married extremely well and there was a good amount of toppings. We also had the rocket, pea and mint salad, which was delish. Will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu.
Clearly this place can be hit or miss. We had heard wonderful comments and read amazing reviews. So off we went to try out this pizzeria. Opposite Camberwell station is is not difficult to miss. The atmosphere is excellent. You need to book as it is tiny. Cosy and the service delightful. First course – Mozzarella in carrozza was excellent – the middle was barely warm and the fresh tomato and basil with oil was yummy. The pizza was definitely not at the 400 degrees I would have liked, nor was the texture or taste as good as some I have had in Camberwell. The ingredients were excellent, however the middle was soggy. I hate soggy pizza in the centre. Well we did try and maybe next time it will be a hit. Will give it a second chance – definitely as it is walking distance.

Drink list is not huge but all that’s offered is absolutely fantastic! Can’t go past good old school Negroni! The pizza menu is really comprehensive and offers a great variety of options suitable for all! Pizzas are really good, true Italian style!
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming but the place is quite tiny so make sure you book beforehand to avoid disappointment! Go Boss!
Best wood fire pizza in Melbourne. What a quality gem in Camberwell. The menu is simple and fun. The service was friendly and quick. You know the pizza is great when you think about it mid week.
Me and my gf ordered three pizzas, as we were thinking we’d have a couple of pizzas as dine in, and take the other one away for lunch the next day. Halfway through dinner I noticed my gf looking upset. I asked why, and apparently she heard the waitress laugh at us and mention to a random other couple in this tiny restaurant that she couldn’t believe we ordered three pizzas.
I don’t take kindly to wait staff making fun of me and my gf while we are trying to enjoy a night out, let alone know the waitress was talking about us to random other patrons.

Have walked past BOSS Pizzeria many times but only tried it for the first time last night. And I’m glad I did – the pizza was incredible and the service was amazing. Lovely wine list too, can’t wait to come back again soon.
