My third and final order. First was great. Second was not fantastic so i doubted if we should order again. This time i convinced my partner against the expensive Mimi’s and gave Camberwell pizza last chance. As though they cared! We asked for no ham at all, pizzas came full of it. Order took 30 min to arrive but pizzas were not hot. Also shrimps were a bit fishy and overall didnt feel any love in the food. Whoever made it doesnt get paid enough to try. Never again. This food does not make you sick thats all.
I live very close to the place. I prefer to pick up and didn’t get trouble.
So far the quality is good with reasonably good price.
Different flavors and fragrance of pizza, first time my kids got crazy about it.
We are happy with it and yes, i will not prefer a delivery because not only this guys but anywhere it will take usually more time.
My only suggestion for hungry customers is, pre-order your food well before, so they get some time to organize in rush hour. And with this price i don’t think they can afford 5 or 6 delivery drivers.
I proudly support all local businesses. And this is my view of supporting local business. So please don’t start online war or arguments.
Great honest pizza. Tried it for the first time and very happy with the quality. Doesn’t try to be fancy or over the top. Reasonably priced and sized with good meal deals available.
Very average pizza place. The pizzas are a good size for a reasonable price, and fairly average quality. My only complaint about the pizza itself is the dough is sometimes under cooked (It’s happened more than once). The last two times I’ve ordered here, they’ve taken at least 1.5 hours to deliver, and one of those was on a Monday night. I see a lot of the reviews are people saying similar things. So I’d suggest never ordering delivery from this place unless you’re willing to wait that long. Either pick it up, or find another pizza place. In conclusion, this place has very average, and sometimes sub par food, and there’s plenty of other places around that are better for the same price.
After Il Borgo changed to a high priced pizza joint we needed a new local. Camberwell Pizza has a good selection of pizzas that are well prepared at decent prices. I always find the young team there friendly and helpful. I always ring and pick up so delivery not an issue. What else do you need for a fast food fix?
NEVER order pizza from here. We used to order regularly but now the deliveries take 2 hours and the business does not care when you call to ask where the order is.
Worst pizza, worst service.
Ordered from Camberwell Pizza last night at 7:30pm. After the online order system told us (after we had submitted and paid for the order) that estimated delivery time for our pizza would be 8:30, we called them to ask if we could possibly pick up our order to save time. The guy on the phone said he couldn’t find our order, so it must have already been taken for delivery. We were surprised, because it had not yet been 10 minutes since we made the order, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. At 8:50, we called again to ask where our pizza was. They told us that they didn’t know what we were talking about, and proceeded to look through their orders, where they found ours and said that it had been lost amongst the orders. They told us that they would make it now and throw in some extras for our inconvenience. We were happy with that. Then two minutes later we got a call saying that the delivery guy had just left with our pizzas, so they could not include the free things, and if we wanted those we would have to come in to the store to collect them. How could they start making the order and send it out the door within two minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.
To top it all off, it was the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever eaten. So doughy, not cooked all the way through, and just sickening toppings.
Will NEVER eat here again!
