I visited this restaurant with my family after reading the review from Leam and i confirm that the place is very good. The service is nice and friendly and the food is delicious and generous size.
Quiet gem near the heart of Camberwell. The service was friendly, the menu, classic and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Myself and three friends went on a distant recommendation, and were both surprised and delighted at the quality of the authentic Indian food. I highly recommend.
Ordered via UberEats – one butter chicken, two saffron rice, samosas and naan. Fair to say Curry Camp has lost its touch… once a fairly priced Indian take-out restaurant, it is now serving low quality food that doesn’t use fresh ingredients.
The Butter Chicken was absolutely horrible, too watery, no spices and tasted so bland if I was blindfolded I wouldn’t have had a chance to guess it was the classic Indian dish so commonly served in Australia. The naan bread was reheated unevenly, each piece tasted too salty and was ridiculously thick and condensed. The samosas and rice were edible.
It’s a real pity they have given up on serving quality meals, and I feel stupid for not reading and believing the last reviewer who should act as a warning beacon before placing your order at Curry Camp.
