Not sure if management has been changed or came on an off day. Food does not reflect the rating. Atleast not today. Not your usual have a seat, read the menu, waiter comes in to take order. Maybe we’re too used to Fitzroy style cafes.
Was here for a quick bite. Ended up ordering a pulled pork roll. But what was served looked nothing like it!! More like corn beef!! This was supposed to be a pulled pork roll!!! What da F$)?&$ !!! No pasta.
A nice little cafe in Camberwell which serves tasty dishes at very good prices. Came here for brunch and had the ‘Chilli Eggs’ with gluten-free bread, which I thought was of good-quality. The freshly squeezed juices are also nice and refreshing, and I thought the option of having chilli added to them is a bit different, though surprisingly pleasant!
Didn’t have time for food so I’ve rated this great little cafe on it’s coffee and service. Happy staff in particular the young man that greeted us and took our coffee order. Can’t beat great coffee and great service! We’ll remember Denmark Hill cafe!
INCOSISTENT price! however their food is great!. Working around Camberwell, this Cafe is a GEM! love their food, especially their Steak Sandwich, Burger friday, and their breakfast!
just one thing though, I found it the price given by them not consistent! sometimes charged more then what it stated in the website. Sue charged me for breakfast the other day for $9.00 (cake & coffee)
while Brydon Charged me $8.00, I order exactly the same thing, my colleague agreed with me that Sue always charged more (either 50 cent or $1). Please fix this guy 😉
Great fresh food-Excellent service. I was impressed with the Denmark Hill Kafe. The food was great and the service excellent. I was very pleased as the staff went out of the way to make the kids a sundae even though this item was not on the menu. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the sundae:) Highly recommended.
Had breakfast here yesterday after being recommended by the lady who took my blood at the pathology practice next door. They made cinnamon toast especially for me. Coffees and fresh squeezed OJ lovely. Morning paper to read – perfect!
