Visited on a Sunday morning and sat indoors. We were aware that there had been a recent change in management but had not got the chance to experience Fordhams Milkbar previously.
We were really disappointed with the quality of food in particular that we ordered.
My fianc had the Mexican scrambled eggs which he described as very average and no real taste of spice at all and quite dense.
I had the sticky date hotcake and I expected this to be quite moist and fluffy but it was the complete opposite. There were two hotcakes stacked on top of each other and they were dry and heavy and I had used all sauce provided to pour on top. There needed to be a lot more sauce given or already on the hotcake and there only needs to be the one hotcake as the menu states as the meal was way too big.
The hot chocolate was probably the only highlight from presentation to taste as the chocolate is given on the side for you to pour in and mix yourself and the mug size is very generous.
