Such a great dinner spot in Camberwell! Love the décor and feel inside. It is spacious, yet cosy, with lots of cool artwork. We tried the veggie spring rolls, veggie Pho, and the basil veg stirfry. Flavours were all amazing! Tasty AF!
Affordable Vietnamese restaurant, conveniently located near Camberwell station. The beef salad was delicious – light, refreshing, perfectly balanced by the dressing. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. The lemongrass chicken stir fry was flavoursome, and the perfect thing to order when you can’t be bothered cooking yourself. The staff were very friendly, and service was top notch.
A great local discoveryWe had a delightful lunch at Pjo Anh today. For entree we had Vietnamese prawn spring rolls. The wagyu beef rolls wrapped in betel leaf were absolutely delicious! For mains we had salt and pepper calamari which was crispy and succulent, stir fried beef with sweet basil leaves tender and tasty, and Vietnamese fried rice in lotus leaf. Owner Lawrence made a point of introducing himself and assisted us with our selection of dishes and wines. Staff were attentive and friendly. A very enjoyable lunch and excellent value. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Shanghai dumplings & Bun Bo HueService was spot on – we were greeted, given recommendations, served promptly.Ambience is also excellent – feels very polished and the area is big enough to feel like you’ve got your own space which is more than I can say about almost every other pho restaurant. Taste – soup dumplings were really nice – good amount of soup in the xiao long bao; bun bo hue is probably on the less spicy side, and meat to noodle ratio I thought wasn’t the best. It did leave me wanting some more flavour overall, but more sauce did the trick.
Friendly service. Good ambience. Great food. We, including our 3.5yo toddler, enjoyed the beef pho and broken rice. Looking forward to coming back.
Dropped into this new establishment for a quick lunch on the way home from golf. The décor is modern and classy and the service friendly. Being one of the first, we didn’t have to wait long. Had Prawn and Chicken Rice Paper Rolls and the Chicken Salad. Unfortunately, the rice paper was a little thick and was very chewy. Chicken Salad dressed with fish sauce was quite refreshing and my companion had the hot spicy pho. Only comment is that the prices are a little on the high side compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.
