Finding such traditional tasting Turkish food in this area is hard.
I bought the Kofte (potato and meatball casserole) and a lamb and spinach pide. The meatballs taste just like My Annanes! (Grandmas)
Thank God I have found this place. Definitely coming on a weekly basis from now on!

I was passing through Camberwell Fresh Food Market to the carpark when I noticed this tiny Turkish bakery.
I had already eaten lunch so I decided to order takeaway for dinner. I ordered the stuffed eggplant with lamb mince, kofta and potato casserole, beans casserole, stuffed cabbage leaves with rice, and lamb and spinach gozleme with yoghurt dip.
Reheated, everything was just…wow. So tasty and delicious. Not overpowering in spices. Koftas were well seasoned and soft in texture. Stand out dish was the eggplant. Cooked perfectly. Rice complemented the dishes marvellously. I could go on and on.
Other foods included lamb mince pides, different filled gozlemes, Turkish rice, eggplant lamb casserole and a heap of baklava desserts.
It is a takeaway store. There is no seating so unfortunately you’ll have to take away and find a nice spot to chow down. They have EFTPOS facilities. Highly recommended.
Have enjoyed takeaway from Roses located within the Camberwell Fresh food market. Enjoy watching the gozlemes and other items rolled and cooked fresh on the grill. Enjoyed the lamb, chicken and spinach feta gozlemes very much. Service is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely eat again.
