Santuccis is located on Toorak Road in Camberwell. The interior is vintage style & very relaxed with a lovely display of old coffee makers & a packed bookshelf for customers to peruse. A cute little walkway led us out the back to a spacious rear covered courtyard. Such a gorgeous tranquil space, exposed brick & plenty of plants & light. We really loved the handles to the sliding door, recycled coffee portafilters.
We started with iced lattes & ordered a few dishes to share. With an Asian influenced menu, the staff were really helpful in giving us suggestions.
The Santucci green breakfast was a fantastic dish, packed with veggies, beetroot hummus & a delicious crispy halloumi polenta.
The tomato bruschetta with halloumi was a standout dish & the presentation was stunning. Tomato salsa, Yarra Valley feta & haloumi with smashed mint peas on pumpkin toast it was a tasty spin on a classic bruschetta. The flavour of the smashed peas worked brilliantly with the tomatoes & cheese & the pumpkin toast was a nice touch.
We finished with the brioche French toast. The plating of this dish was so pretty & the flavours were divine & not too sweet. Plenty of fresh fruit & a really yummy coconut caramel sauce. The perfect dish to end our brunch.
The staff were super friendly & helpful and we loved the relaxed feel of the back courtyard area. The food at Santuccis was really impressive & we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks so much for having us in.
Santiccis has been around for such a long time and there is a reason why- Its superb.
From the time you walk in the front door youre greeted by all of the staffs smiling faces and its really difficult to choose where to sit as there are so many options, all being lovely. If youre just having a couple of drinks- please sit in the courtyard its picturesque.
The food and drinks are works of art with good portion sizes, great value and super tasty!
Im so glad that I dont live too far away from this fantastic cafe.
See you guys soon

Friendly staff. We went for quick breakfast. We had cheese vegmate toast and apple iced tea and skinny flat white. I though vegmate toast and iced tea was bit expensive but it was actually very nice.Thank you put into take away container as we are bit hurry.
Beautiful dish and good ambience, super friendly service! The French toast I ordered was so delicious! Nice coffee too! Definitely come again!
The covered courtyard of Santuccis was rustic and charming and filled with plenty of natural lighting and a giant heater for those colder days. We chose this spot to sit when we visited for Sunday brunch as it was nice a quiet and roomy space.
The menu read well and seemed quite classic with a strong focus on savoury. Thats said there was a delicious sounding french toast that we just had to try.
Coffee and Chai first up. The coffee was nice and hot just like I like and quite smooth and milk well frothed so good for picture art. The chai seemed authentic and wasnt overly sweet. We also had a nice melons juice which was predominantly watermelon based, always refreshing.
We had the giant corn and sweet potato fritter, the tacos and the French toast for our brunch today.
The corn and sweet potato fritters were pretty as a picture and came with two perfectly poached eggs, a beetroot pure and dots of bright saffron aioli. I really enjoyed this dish.
The tacos mentioned on the specials menu were beef but we received thin crumbed chicken which was equally welcome by us. The coleslaw that accompanied the chicken on these toasted taco shells was flavoursome and juicy too… yum

Many years of industry experience working in hotel kitchens and in running other cafes and as such likes to change and flex the specials menu almost weekly here so there is always something new to try on repeat visits.
Our last dish was the French toast and this was exceptionally plated. This brioche french toast came with marshmallow, choc wafer, fruit, custard dots and plenty of maple. It was relatively light for a french toast as brioche wasnt super thick cut and I liked this fact.
A really great brunch meal and a lot of interesting dishes still on the menu that we didnt get to try. Thanks so much for inviting us in. Santuccis is only a hop away from our home in Box Hill South so its good to know a great local.
I was a guest of Santuccis today, a lovely little rustic retro cafe in Camberwell. The space is quite extensive and we sat in the covered courtyard out the back which was pleasantly dotted with trailing ivy and other greenery.
We chose to order the brioche French toast, corn and sweet potato fritter and the slow cooked beef taco special. I had a chai while we waited which wasnt in the easiest of jugs to pour and I subsequently spilt it all over the table. I then ordered a fruity watermelon juice but it didnt materialise until after we had finished eating and only post my enquiry as to its whereabouts.
All dishes were spectacularly presented and very colourful. The eggs were perfectly poached too. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the French toast which allowed the fresh fruit to shine and give it flavour. The fritter was also a very flavoursome dish with a lot going on between the sliced avo, the saffron mayo and beetroot hummus (although the menu did dictate smashed avocado).
The taco dish was the surprise for me as slow cooked beef was replaced by crispy chicken with avocado. I believe the kitchen may have done this believing it would be more photogenic so I assume this wouldnt happen to a regular customer. Fortunately we dont have an obscure dietary requirement that is anti poultry because we werent asked. Regardless the dish was tasty enough.
I was definitely impressed overall as the menu is quite simple mostly comprised of classics which had incorrectly led me to assume the dishes would be boring but they certainly exceeded expectations
