My favourite dish here is the Peking duck. But of course you need a few people to share it.
100% disgusting sweet sour pork was off had a weird taste and smelt off, batter was soggy as well. Fried rice tasted like soapy water and was not even fried it was all take away and it would of been the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Its a Warning to everyone.
This is a high-quality restaurant, with delicious dishes. Decor is clean, spacious, decorated with traditional style in art and ceramics. Menu is a bit pricey compared to other asian restaurants, but almost in line with other high quality restaurants. We had a large group, where we had a head waiter to cover our needs. Foodies ordered a la carte, as the set menu was from $75.
Special fried rice is good, not sticky or oily, and generous with decent shrimps.
Other various dishes such as beef vegetables, hotpot, was good serving size and delicious.
I felt the wait staff could be a bit more hospitable, and help lead direction on ordering particularly when it was non-asian groups. Each table wasnt sure how each other was ordering, so would have helped with suggestions on dishes. It seemed she just wanted to get the orders, hand it out, and handle our collected cash. Although the meal was delicious, the dining & waiter experience is equally important, otherwise diners would go for takeaways.
