The I heard about this place from a couple of friend so I decided to give it a go. I headed down with a friend and ordered a 5 pack with jam filling.
The guy serving was pleasant he charged me $10, gave me a pager then he said they will be ready in 6 minutes.
I couldn’t believe it, he pulled out fresh brioche dough and fried them on both sides, then he filled them with this electric filler.
I had my first bite and honestly I cant explain to you how heavenly these donut are. We demolished them in a 3 minute then order another 5 pack with Nutella filling.
If youre ever in the northern suburbs, I whole heartedly urge you to go to the Dr Donuts and seek out their enticing donuts.
They also make a good medium specialty coffee.
Got the 6 packs of churros with white chocolate sauce and Nutella sauce and 2 jam brioche donuts
The churros were hard and very crunchy, wasn’t happy with them but the white chocolate sauce recommended by the guy was amazing!!
The brioche donuts were reallyy good with heaps of Filling but it was small I ate it in 3 bites 🙁 I would only come back for the donuts
The 3 churros option on the menu is basically one churro cut into 3 mini pieces. Definitely not worth the price $$ and felt ripped off due to false advertising. Other places at least provide decent size churros. I had to ask if they accidentally gave me the kids option from the menu but they said – ‘that’s how we do it’ – in a more of a take it or leave it tone.
San Churro’s provide much better for the same price and decent sized churros. The donuts here are fine, but not the Churros. Will not be coming here again.
Late night sugar cravings and a quick google search led us to Dr Donut in Campbellfield. We were pleasantly surprised to find they served Churros as well, which is quite hard to come across this far in the North! Perfect sugar fix for anyone needing one
Had an amazing experience buying donuts here for the second time around. Would highly recommend. Great customer service, friendly staff and fresh hot brioche donuts all the time.
Went here for a last minute dessert treat tonight. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We got a mix of donuts and churro, which I thought were superb. The churro was nice and crispy on the outside, and fluffy inside. The dipping sauces were a little rich, but this should be expected. Not a real issue. The donuts were cooked fresh as advertised. They were light and fluffy, and tasted beautiful. They are smaller than regular donuts, but there’s nothing wrong with this at all. You don’t need big to be bold. Highly recommend this place.
A new little donut place located next to Burgies in Campbellfield. Parking is limited and so is seating. Dr. Donuts specialises in cooked-to-order brioche donuts with your choice of filling. The short wait is worth it, the donuts were crisp, hot, light and not at all greasy. The donuts are on the smaller side which I prefer and 5 for $10 is an absolute bargain. The guys that work there are really nice and really efficient, working in a tiny space. Coffee is great too.
