This place is busy during lunch breaks. So your order can take a while to be served. Took an hour or so to have lunch here. We had the mixed meat Kebab, this fill you up real good, and the bread was soft and delicious.

Great local Turkish eatery. Meat is cooked well, pilaf and dips are delicious. Food is consistently good and reasonably priced too. Rating this a 4 for what it is, a good take away turkish restaurant.
Food is ok, chicken skewers could have been cooked more. Customer service was ok too but went to pay the bill and said the eftpos was down, this is the third time they have told me the eftpos was down, obviously lying to get cash in hand lost me there as a customer!
This is one of those local gems you sometimes find through accident or luck. Buried in an industrial estate next to a tyre joint this place looks like some dodgy Kebab shack from the outside which no doubt would turn some people off but its well worth the effort to find.
The place is a family style restaurant with a somewhat confusing mismatch of booths and tables but is super clean and offers quite a nice welcome, I been here 5 or 6 times now and the wait staff have always been super nice and happy to go through the menu with you. The meals all come out quick and the food is incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, the Turkish bread is probably the best Ive had in Melbourne.
In short, a nice family run place, good food, friendly staff and despite the remote location worth checking out of your in the area.
Tucked away sort of within an industrial area the food served here is always consistent. I love their big breakfasts and the menu is extensive. The lamb sis kebab is very nicely cooked. I’ve been many times and will return.
The best iskender and mixed grill in the area. Don’t be fooled by the industrial setting, Somerton kebab cafe is definitely not a second rate kebab restaurant. The meat is always fresh and tasty. It’s worth paying the little bit extra for.
Very unassuming on the outside but great kebabs in authentic Turkish bread not in a wrap. Not overstuffed on salads either meat was generous and it was one of the better kebabs I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten lots. Only downer I felt it could have used a smidge more garlic sauce. Size was big for me but would satisfy a hungry man easily. Lots on the menu that looked great including sweets. Was also busy with regulars and not just industrial workers from nearby. Pity it’s far from us, we were only passing through or it would be a regular for me, hubby goes often though due to work and enjoys each time.
