Th good lady was away this evening so I called into Seabreeze on Maling for a naughty fish and chip feed. I ordered fried flake with calamari rings, chips and a drink. The turn around time was quite impressive and dinner was still nicely hot when I got home.
The flake was very good here, large and quite a thick piece of fish with a great ratio of fish to batter. This was a step up over the rest of the meal which was not as strong. The crumbed calamari was dry and small and next time I would skip
Over these for something else. The chips were also slightly over cooked and without much flavour. I should have asked for chicken salt.
I enjoyed most of this naughty treat but left more than half the chips due because they were meh

Used to have great fish & chips but it gets worse each time we go there. Tonight the fish was okay as it was grilled but anything that was deep fried was inedible. Way to much batter & deep fried in oil that tatsed days if not weeks old. I will not risk take away here again!
