Nice local cafe. Lovely imaginative food and great service at any time of the day. The fit out is very much of the area and works well although can get a bit rowdy. A nice addition to Rathdowne.
Only discovered this place recently. Lovely service. Friendly atmosphere. Delicious food. My go to place for coffee and breakfast in the inner north.
Masons is to die for. The moment you arrive, the wonderful aroma of lavender greets you. Inside the cafe, the sun beams in. The glorious yellow throughout transfigures this light and both set off the bright colours and oriental patterns of the plates.
Immediately you are welcomed by the staff. Vivienne bowls out of the kitchen, grabs the water and makes you feel at once at home. Viv is terribly kind and sweet. For me, the chance to have a nice chat with her is reason enough to go.
Words cannot do justice to the sublimity of Viv’s cooking. The food is light (even when it shouldn’t be) and immediately transports me into a state of pure bliss. Anyone also looking for bliss should try the jaffles or the chilli mushrooms. The coffee is fabulous. What more can I say? Pure bliss!
Mason’s was a 10/10, great coffee and friendly service. We went this morning, there was quick and friendly service. Had the milk bun for breakfast and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back

We are from Adelaide and were looking for a straightforward coffee and brekky place. Wanted something different from the usual cafes with illegible menus. Had the best time. Amazing coffee and food. Viv the owner is an absolute gem. 5/5
Spectacular coffee and a delicious feed in a super friendly cafe, completely free of wank. Definitely my new regular in the village. Didn’t partake today but theres some great looking take-away goods on the shelves inside.
