About
Casa Tajine serves richest Moroccan cuisine, skilfully seasoned to produce fragrant dishes, showing the influence of Spanish and neighbouring African countries. Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt; one could say North African cuisine has its roots at the beginning of civilization. Couscous, main staple in North African diet, has become a familiar word for many and its popularity out of Africa grows by the day. Carthaginians introduced wheat and semolina. The Berbers, Christian nomadic people, made semolina into couscous. Today, the cooking-pot and its traditional broth is primarily prepared in the Middle East and North Africa. In the Middle East it is called a maraq (broth) or a qidra (cooking pot), while in North Africa it is called a Tajine.Details

We had a fantastic dinner and are planning to go back and try other items on the menu. The portions aren’t huge, but the food is yummy and filling so no disappointment. The mint tea at the end was also fantastic, a must have.
Delicious! Very tasty homemade Moroccan food. The lamb tajine is highly recommended. The staff is also wonderful and friendly.
The food was INCREDIBLE. Casa Tajine is the perfect place to come together with friends and family to enjoy a delicious blend of Spanish/Moroccan cuisine! I’ve been four times now since it opened and they never disappoint.
Amazing taste at Casa tajine! Walked off with the sensation of having visited a typical Moroccan house as food was totaly homemade and we felt at home due to the warm welcome and service.Top 1 restaurant to me in Melbourne.
I have been there with some friends recently and the food is great and also the service they give you! I would definitelly recommend to go to anyone that loves moroccan food!
The food was astonishingly good and the price unbeatable, warm welcome from Sergio who served us a tea while we were thinking what to order. 100% recommendable.
Went with my friend and had a really good experience. The food was delicious, specially the Paella, although the Moroccan part is also worth it to mention. I would definitely go back!
