The daily special deals are great! Loved the tuesday parma and wednesday steak deals. Great ambiance and interiors as well. One of the few places with a beer garden AND rooftop bar.
It doesn’t even deserve 1.0! We’ve been living in Melbourne for 4 years now and this was the worst experience ever we got. Had to wait for over AN HOUR for just a burger and 2 serves of steaks. I ordered steaks cooked medium but literally received the stone hard over cooked one. What a shame!!
Great pub, with friendly staff. Menu has the pub classics that are done well as well as some specials which are tasty. Beginning to introduce a few craft beers which is great.
Ordered Chicken Parma and I must say that their quantity and presentation was top notch. They have serve it for a lower price on Tuesday and its totally worth having.
There for a social event, most of us just had drinks. The prices are quite high, but the fries were pretty good. Maybe I was just hungry but we wiped the plate clean.
Food is really good for an after-training feed. A local haunt for students and sports fans… no mess, no fuss pub food. Burgers are the good kind of sloppy, the way they should be!
The Clyde is an institution linked to the university and colleges. I used to be highly familiar with the carpeted floorboards more than a decade ago. It continues to receive minor renovations to keep up appearances. Cheap daily specials make my infrequent favourite as for other university staff. Group and kid friendly, it also shows Fox sports on the muted tellys. Always friendly staff. Burgers, parmas and fries. Lunchtime pint. Done.
