Come to Lygon st on Friday night for a quick dinner ,me and my husband decided to give Copperwood restaurant a go. The atmosphere was nice however they left the door opened so it was freezing. You don’t enjoy much when u have to keep your down jacket on.Anyway we ordered Calabrese , Margherita pizzas and beers .our pizzas arrived after 15mins and to b honest I was not impressed . Sorry guys

The seafood pizza was somewhat soggy and a but too salty for my liking.

Going to a restaurant on Lygon street seems to be a bit of a gamble as I come to discover and this one was unfortunately a total waste of money and time. I am once again surprised how a simple entre like Bruschetta can be stuffed up. It has that few ingredients and yet there are restaurants that still dont manage to get it right. The bread was soggy and too sweet, tomatoes also soggy and why did they spread garlic butter onto the toast? Please dont.
The pasta was overall below average and bland. The salad was drowned in vinegar and looked unappetizing.
I will give this one a miss next time.
