Where do I start. I was on my way to soccer practise and I was in a rush because my kids were in the back of the van. Oliver couldnt find his shoe so it was MAHEM in the mayperson car. I popped in to get some ah, how do you call it, vegetarian dumplings, but it took 31 minute for the man to get the lid on my box. Jacksons soccer game started 20mins ago and Im still waiting for my dumplings. Sorry kids, mummas got her priorities.
Great location – not only for University of Melbourne but also Lygon St and Nova Cinema! It’ll hardly win awards for design aesthetics – formica-top tables looking out onto the tram stop through full length plate glass windows, But for a quick stop, could do a lot worse (I have! :)) and the beef noodle soup was good value at $9.80 – lots of very tender meat. Needed quite a helping of chilli oil though to get full flavours. I’ll be back to try the dumplings!
