Ordered the Eggs Benedict which came with fries which were overcooked. They were generous with bacon but it was too dry, must have oven baked it. My partner ordered the Lygon Street Stack and again the bacon was too dry. Stingy on the mushrooms, he got 2 small button mushrooms. $5 for half a chorizo cut in half which is too expensive in my opinion. Coffees were nice. Service was slow as they were really understaffed. One person taking orders, making coffee and serving food, and one chef. Would give a 2.5/5 but the app doesnt let me.
This cafe is situated at a great location on Lygon St. I came here with a Groupon. There was only one person working at the time I came in but he was lovely. We had 6 people altogether, so the service was incredibly slow. We waited over an hour for all our food to come, but I guess that is what you expect given the Groupon was only $11 for a coffee and a meal. The meal was quite tasty; I ordered a lygon st stack. If it were bigger, I would have been more satisfied. The matcha latte was really nice (a bit diluted though)
A nice little spot located on Lygon street! I tried a couple of their gnocchi dishes after seeing some friends post about it. The gnocchi à la crème did not disappoint! One of my favourite things that a lot of places don’t do is pan fry their gnocchi – so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they did!
Great spot in Carlton for brunch or lunch goals – you can’t go wrong with their crepes or pancakes if you’re feeling like some sweets and the gnocchi here is on point, we couldn’t pick so we got two of them! Really love the back area and great service with a smile
This unassuming cafe was jam packed with surprises! One of their deliciously decadent dishes was the fluffy, incredible gnocchi! If you’re a gnocchi lover, the creamy gnocchi a la creme is a must try! Would love more variety on their menu as there was a few hits and misses
