Was exploring Lygon street peculiar Italian heritage and lineage, when I realised that I seriously needed a caffeine hit.
Walking pass Grinders, its hard not to be drawn to the clean and slick interior of this caf. The aesthetics were appealing enough that I popped in for an espresso. Having my espresso outside in the warm sun, I appreciate how they have these tiny tables for your espresso which gives the feeling that you arent crammed in.
In terms of the taste, I love it when the taste is bitter while being smooth. A hard combination but one that Grinders did well.
Showstopper: If I studied at Melbourne University this would be my hotspot.
Overall Grade: A-
