The owner used to make an amazing coffee, now with changing staff members, and perhaps new type of beans (?), it has become a bit of a hit and miss. Delicious sweets though!

This caf is tucked away alongside an alley just off Berkeley Street, and is easy to miss unless you have been before. The dining space is elongated, and the interior interestingly looks a bit like a library with a bookcase feature wall, and chairs and tables that would not be out of place in a study hall. It appears to be a repurposed building, and the dcor is smart. The menu is not very extensive, but interesting, and includes a number of vegetarian items. I had the smashed avo, which had a kick to it, with the inclusion of some chilli. The coffee was well made strong, and the right temperature. The service was friendly and attentive, and a bit lay back. Certainly a good caf, and worthy of a revisit.

Been going here for a year or so regularly, affordable, good quality food that is all made on site. Owner is pleasant, always friendly as are the staff. Coffee is great, menu changes regularly, salads are great.

near uni, just close to the mbs. Not many choices for food. And need long waiting time. Food is just okay and i love chicken salad most. Chai latte tastes kind of weird, very light caramel taste.

I have discovered that it is possible to be given too much avocado. Ordering a flat white – extra hot – and the avocado smash, I was sorely disappointed. After first being given a latte, the second coffee attempt was not hot at all. The meal was a MOUND of avocado on a single peice of bread with the fetta nowhere to be found; well I exaggerate, I got a brief hint of fetta – twice. There was SO MUCH avocado though, that I ended up leaving half of it on my plate. All in all a very disappointing visit, I will not be going back.

Food is okay, standard cafe fare but overpriced for what it is…unfair given that I know for a fact these guys pay there staff the verrry very minimum.

The coffee is pretty good and the staff are always super friendly, but the food can be a little overprices, especially the sandwiches etc. Then again, every cafe in the area is the same.
