Small cafe, with a good selection of items in the cabinet (sandwiches, quiches, and pies) as well as made to order dishes. Overall good value for what else you can get in the area.
Chicken quiche, $9, simple but tasty.
Veggie frittata, $9, good lunch meal. Can have side salad with it.
Affogato was good, after some initial confusion about what an affogato is, they successfully delivered a espresso with ice cream. And hopefully they will be open to many more of these orders in the future!
At $3.50, this place has the cheapest coffee on/around the UoM campus. Service is okay. The coffee tastes a little strange. When I had it yesterday it was SUPER sweet, so I ordered less sugar. Today the sweetness was barely there. Strange. Not a bad option, and really close to my office. They have a pretty decent array of foccacias available, but the bagels with cream cheese just can’t be beat.
Food was average but the wait staff were very rude and the milk used in the coffee had a very odd taste. All my friends agreed that it was strange. None of us ordered soy or nut milk so those may be better.
