Friendly service. Nice casual place. Crispy roti with satay sauce. Generous amount of fried Kway teow. Yummy sweet teh tarik. Good hearty authentic Singaporean food.

A choice destination for lunch close by the university. Service is quick and the food authentic. I have native Singaporean friends who approve of this place.

Beef nasi lemak: The combination of flavoursome slow-cooked beef, crispy anchovies, peanuts, sambal sauce and coconut rice is a definite winner. There is potential for a greater amount of sambal sauce.

Overall a place I can definitely see myself becoming a regular at.

Originally from Singapore, Killiney serves lots of local Singaporean delights. The name is a mainstay in Singapore, so expectations are understandably high when they expanded here. The food is somewhat authentic in taste but does lack some depth that makes it stand out. The roti prata with curry chicken is quite nice and for just over $10 you get 3 medium pieces of prata, which in my opinion is much better than what you’d get from Papparich. The fried (char) kuay teow is decent but does lack a bit of wok taste.

Overall it’s a good option for a city that otherwise still lacks authentic Singaporean cuisine, and should satisfy Singaporeans craving their local delights, but is not amazing and probably wouldn’t cut it in Singapore.

Came here for lunch a week ago. They have lots of options with descent pricing and combo . I ordered the Nasi Lemak convo with ice lemon tea. It was pretty good but there are better places elsewhere , the chicken and beef taste could improve .
