This is my favourite near by food venue to grab a tasty lunch time meal, the customer service is fantastic and as someone with a SUCROSE intolerance its so wonderful to find a place with meals and desserts I can actually eat, unlike other places with refined sugar free option many of the desserts also come without artificial sweeteners (Any notoriousness will tell you how sweeteners can do long term damage and cause long term health issue).
If you happen to arrive at a time when they’ve run out of brown rice (1:35pm… seriously?), the $10 Mantra meal (chick pea curry, brown rice and salad) is no longer available and you’re forced to pay separately for all the individual items which will cost $16. Charging $7 for a curry, a further $6 for biryani rice (!) and then a further $3 for salad is ridiculous. Sure, charge an extra dollar or two to replace brown rice with biryani rice, but don’t hike your price up by 60 percent. To boot, the service is offensively slow. Stood at the bain marie for ages unacknowledged before a second person finally came out. Unacceptable.
