An interesting experience: We were told to find a seat ourselves. Sure, no problem. We struggled to find a table that was cleared and clean. Ended up having to move dirty plates to another dirty table, and set up our table. OK, now menus?? We had to go up to the counter to ask for a couple. The waitress must have forgotten about us, so we went back to counter to order. Was told its table service… The staff told me they were struggling because it was busy. To be fair there were a few people having breakfast, but it was a Sunday… How do they manage during the week? The food was ok when it finally came. The bread was rock hard. Everything else was satisfactory.
Fantastic breakfast thankyou staff and management of pertutti ! Great service, food and atmosphere will see you soon thanks again Chris
Was at Pertutti tonight, I read some negative reviews along with some positive so I thought why not.
Had bruscetta to start and it was magnificent.
The bread was to die for.
Had the Porterhouse for the main, asked for medium and it was spot on. Not a huge portion but with the chips it became a hearty meal.
Gave it 4.5, would’ve given 5 but it did lack a little ambience.
Overall very happy and I forgot to mention the staff very nice as well
Got a really good price from Groupon. Wine worth 3 start, food 3.5 but staff are really friendly so I give 5 for it. Will come back next time with friends!
We came here on a Sunday morning (14 Oct) with two young kids. Ordered two breakfast specials and fries. Fries came within 15min but the food never did. After over an hour of waiting and checked with the waitress multiple times they told us that the food have not been made yet and they dont know why. With our little ones getting fussy, the waitress gave us the option to pay for the fries and leave and we left without getting even an apology. Very disappointed with the service and cant even comment on the food because we didnt get any:(
The atmosphere terrible, the worst customer service ever, food average.
Booked a table for dinner for 3 course meal for 8pm, called them that I will be late 5 min, got asked to book for another day. When I explained , I’m not from Melbourne and asked again to hold a table for 10 min, she agreed. Once we arrived she was siting bored on her phone, the place was empty. She through the menu on the table and quickly explain to us what is included in Groupon voucher we got. She highlighted we have to share the starter. After ordering well done stake I got rare one. My partner wasn’t able to finish his main meal as she came to take our plates. Then we asked for desert menu. She said they don’t have one and she brought half of mini cake for us to share. While we were eating she was cleaning the place and obviously was in rush to close even though the place close at 10pm so still 2 hours to go. Never ever again! Btw the place looks more like canteen than restaurant. It’s freezing cold. Don’t take anybody there for a special dinner.
Delicious seafood chowder, glad to have ordered it based on the recommendations in the previous reviews. Soup was creamy, fragrant and not overly rich, with a generous amount of seafood in it. The waitress forgot to serve our wine and I waited until after we finished the entree to remind her. She did apologize though which was okay. For main I opted for the porterhouse which came quite overcooked (I asked for medium and it came basically well done) and tasted under seasoned with a watery mushroom sauce on the side. The slow cooked beef linguine was nice but not amazing, could have been a bit more flavoursome. I guess they need to be more consistent with the quality of food.
