I loved this cute but busy ice cream venue. There was a line but it moved quickly. The Nutella on tap is amazing and I loved the addition of it to my Nutella swirl ice cream. The girls working there were super friendly and working hard!
I am a huge fan of gelato and Pidapipo delivers the goods. The gelato tastes so authentic and had me reminiscing about the gelato I had in Italy.
I got mascarpone with blueberry jam and it was amazing – a must try!!
Gorgeous hot Melbourne day, shades and shorts are out and all I need was a decent scoop of gelato to complete the package. Bought the salted caramel ice cream on a cone and kid you not it instantly started dripping on me like bird poo and the flavor was way too salty for my liking. I had ice cream under the sun before and never had one melted on me that quickly. This was the first time I had to throw away unfinished ice cream into the bin.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. Good selection of gelato and very tasty. Service is a bit rushed given how busy they are. I wouldnt say this is the best in Melbourne but still very good gelato and up there with all the other great places in Melb.
Finally get to try this place! A long queue that gets short quick. The place is quite snug with flavours show on the board. The blueberry and mascarpone is okay. The pistachio is great, great pistachio blended in and quite rich.
I’ve been here twice now and am not sure what the excitement is all about. At the first visit I tried their banana gelato which was smooth but had the (fake) banana essence flavour – it was totally underwhelming. I gave it a second chance today and went for the Nutella swirl which a lot of people rave about. However, other than the fresh, crispy cone and the chocolate fudge as a free add on, the gelato itself was simply….ordinary.
I’m going against the grain here but my fave remains Casa Del Gelato a few blocks down.
Fantastic gelato, but this is my least fave of their gelato stores! Staff are a bit cold, and the place is a bit dirty and looks rundown.
However, the gelato is delicious, creamy and not over the top in sweetness : some of the best in Melbourne. I love the dark chocolate flavour, which is what I usually get plus one of their weekly specials.
