Enjoyed a spectacular dinner – the eight-course option. We enjoyed everything served, with the potato, goat, lamb and deserts being highlights. The service was also fantastic, with Andrew being friendly and funny but not obtrusive. Will definitely be back.

Stunning modern Indian cuisine. Shompen is an absolute hidden gem in Melbournes crowded culinary scene. Our meal was a true tour de force of intense flavours and amazing presentation. Backed by friendly, personable and welcoming service the food was by far the best Indian I have had the pleasure of tasting in a long time. A completely different approach that will surprise and delight!

Shompen is a contemporary take on Indian food – deconstructed, redefined, reimagined. The flavours are delicate and refined, as opposed to the usual big flavours of Indian food. The price is very reasonable, and the pappadam cones were truly unique
Amazing all round experience! Really nice atmosphere, extremely friendly staff. And the food was lovely – very interesting and beautifully presented. A great night out.
