This was unfortunately some of the worst food I have tried in Melbourne. Had a bento with mixed vegetables and tofu. Pretty much everything on the plate was inedible. It was awful. It was like cafeteria food that had been prepared days ago. It was bland and unpleasant. The miso soup, rice and tofu were especially bad. The only decent thing was the edamame beans I ordered as a side. I had to fill up on that because everything else was just awful and I could not finish. The food is cheap, but definitely no where near worth the money you pay.
The food also took really long to arrive. It looked like there was only one young man working, who was taking orders and also preparing the food. I dont know why it took so long though because the food was definitely not fresh and barely even warm.
I left feeling hungry, disappointed and annoyed. A waste of time and money.

The interesting thing was that you get to order a big plate, a small plate and a side dish. I really like this as you can pick what you want rather than being given everything.
In the bento box salad was fresh and tasty, the boiled rice was good, and the chicken sukiyaki was good but a bit dry.
Fort small plate I ordered pork gyoza and these were alright but again a bit dry.
The miso soup which was my side dish was delicious, and one of the best ones that Ive had in a very long time.
Overall this was a really tasty meal.

They were pretty good. Very tasty sliced beef and chicken.
