One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! Still thinking about it long after eating it! Good friendly service, food was quick to come out. Definitely coming back again to try more of the menu out.
The perfect dive bar. It’s a cosy place with cheap beers. It’s a great spot in the city with heaps of old posters plastered on the wall, slightly sticky floors and good music.
The Curtin has a rotating kitchen, most recently Huxtaburger and currently Blue Bonnet. The bar staff are really friendly. I wish they opened earlier for lunch. This place smells like bleach during the day and theres music at night. A regular for uni students.
Match made in heaven! One of the best bars in Melbourne matched with the one of Melbourne’s best burgers. All the makings for a great night out!
Do yourself a favor and get down before it’s all over
RIP pub snacks!!!!!!. Ummm what is with huxtaburger taking over the kitchen?? this is a great local for my tafe on cardigan street, we were in a really good routine of getting after school jugs with wedges, occasionally some nacho or fried tofu and i looked forward to trying their bigger stuff – – but suddenly it’s huxtaburger and now i can only get chips without any creamy sauce (they’re crinkle cut which is good, i’ll give them that) or a boring burger with overly sugary bun that i can’t share (only the one vege burger and i reckon tofu patties are usually an unimaginative excuse)… maybe a good thing that i will be eating less unhealthy pub food… but honestly… bring in some more, shareable pub snacks, or some more sauces for chip, or a different vege burger without a sweet brioche bun… i guess the fuss is about the meat burgers for this place but i just feel gross and unsatisfied after i eat the vege one, last time i ate one i had to go and buy a goz afterwards
Tasty food! Cool atmosphere!
If you like a dark little bar, the Curtin is the place to go. Staff are super friendly, serving size of the meals are perfect. Chicken Parma is a fave followed closely by the calamari. The new kitchen are doing an awesome job!!
