Wolf it down. The (mostly) outside and upstairs bar at the back of Jimmy Watson’s is a little oasis off busy Lygon St.
Unsurprisingly, there’s a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. But the food is just as appealing. The antipasto platter is massive, and filled with quality offerings, not least a mountain of marinated feta.
It’s a good spot for a lazy weekend afternoon and will be even better when Melbourne finally gets a summer

Walked in tonight with my husband to have a drink and at first wasn’t even sure that it was opened, as there was nobody at the bar downstairs. We walked out through the garden and climbed to the terrace to be told by the waiter that we have to order downstairs at the bar. We looked at each other and left. This establishment really needs to start thinking about who they employ and how they conduct their business. It is ridiculously stupid to have your guests to go up and down the stairs to make an order. Get your act together if you want to earn a buck.
Do love the rooftop bar and the atmosphere. However I will miss here only because our teachers treated us here to celebrate the end of semester. I can’t say the drinks are good here.
Cool little roof top bar in the warmer weather. We ordered the pimms jug and were not disappointed . A great place to take out of towners to this oh so Melbourne bar.
Wolfs lair is a really cool venue, great vibes and drinks right next to cheap parking. Definitely the most chilled out rooftop bar in the city.
