As a shareholder of Aunty’s Dumplings Pty Ltd, The Dear Luncher will sometimes attend similar places on Koornang Road to inspect how other eateries are tracking.
The dumplings here are very good, as are other assorted entree dishes like the san choi bao. As others have mentioned though, voyaging beyond these humble staples does introduce a level of risk. Quite simply, the other dishes leave a lot to be desired.
Let’s stick to the positives though. The pan fried beef dumplings at Dumpling Workshop are simply excellent. This is a real strength for this establishment.

This place has followed a descending curve,the owners relyingon the amount of customers whichthe hadit at the beginning and trying to make more moneyusing progressively worse and cheaper primary foods: the typical behaviour of manyowners who believe they can get away with anything. Never again.
