Waitress confused our coffee orders and kept double checking our subsequent orders. Soft shell crab burger had very tiny piece of crab with hardly any meat. The chorizo eggs Benedict was ok. Price wise was decent but there are a lot of better tasting brunch places in the area.
Cute little cafe with very friendly service. Whilst the menu isnt overly extensive, it provides enough variety for most. With decent prices, great presentation and even better tasting dishes, Nude Duck was a suprising hit.
What a nice surprise this was. We’ve walked by so many times but never thought to try the food here.. We were pleasantly surprised though with the bold flavours and interesting menu offerings. Coffee was a little on the acidic side (I personally prefer a smoother coffee), and we bought a croissant and muffin to go (they were the perfect mid arvo snack and quite yummy). Ambience is humble and unassuming, and service is warm and friendly. We will be back!
Was walking past and decided to try this for the first time. Extremely small serving for the price. Food was average. Coffee was decent. Extremely limited menu.
Great spot for brunch – service was friendly, just a tad slow (they could do with more staff during busy times). Ordered the healthy garden dish with side of smoked salmon – a beautiful looking plate that tasted pretty good too. Shakes were also tasty additions to our meal. Would come again to try more off the menu.
I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago and while the coffee was divine, I can’t speak as highly of the food. My boyfriend had the fritters and they were fairly tasteless and pretty basic. The service was good but other than that it was an average breakfast with so many other wonderful options along Koornang Road. I would definitely come back here for coffee but I would think twice about my order before I picked this cafe for breakfast again.
love the grandmas fritters, staff now know this is my favourite-usual order as I am here almost every weekend ordering them… simply delicious!!!! very happy to have this quality of food locally.. nice work!!! (good coffee also!!)
