First timer at Noodle Johnny and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Nasi Goreng fried Rice, large serving, enough for lunch tomorrow as well.
Was a little light on the meat and vegetables but had a nice flavour with a hint of spice.
Brought the lemon chicken lunch pack about a week ago; it was as part of a deal they are having where you can get something like lemon chicken or beef stir fry (can remember off the top of my head), and you would get a can of soft drink (your choice of soft drink) with it.
I actually got the lemon chicken for a friend and she said that the chicken itself was cook through perfectly; was too hard nor too soft – keep in mind that I left it in the container for about an hour or something and yet the chicken was still quite churchy. And the batter was applied just right, not too much or too little – thats what gave it that golden look in the picture.
Almost all the ingredients you ordrr, such as veggies are all freshly brought regularly.
However, the lemon sauce used was a bit too strong my friend found it. Even I tasted it a liitle bit and found that the taste of the sauce was quite sharp & overpowering.
That actually got me thinking if it was meant to be poured straight onto the chicken or was it meant to be watered down by being mixed in with a little bit of warm water.
The restaurant itself is a bit cozy, by cosy I mean it’s quite tight. Normally customers just come-in, place order, & come back to collect their meal. Hardly ever I’ve seen people sitting down – therefore there is literally no point having tablets and chairs inside a building that already have restrictions in open space.
However regardless of all that, I still wouldn’t be comming back here nor recommend this place to anyone. The savice here is soo bad, it completely ruined my experience and just put me in a bad mood.
When I walked in I was greeted by an elderly female employee but it was in a tone which can be considered very arrogant, rude & aggressive.
At first i thought that, that was just the nature of how she talks; however I did notice that towards some people she spoke in a much gentle tone compared to me and other people she gave them the same treatment as I received.
Normally I would walk away from any restaurant that gives customers such a disrespectful treatment (I mean seriously – money is money, business is business, you need to treat your customers equally, not show absolute disgust to some, and show completely and otter love & respect to others) but Noodle Johnny was the restaurant nearby that made chinese cuisine, so really I didn’t have much choice.
Thats a shame because I would sincerely love to come back here again but unless they do something about that customer service problem, thats not going to be happening anytime soon.
Got laksa, was ok.
Wouldn’t rush back…………………………………………………………………………………………..
No value for money. Dim sims are not home made and no veggies and hardly and chicken in the satay chicken noodles
Honey Soy Noodles. Bowl is so full for only $9.50, tastes wonderful
Very Rude Service.. Walked in, and I was very rudely greeted. With that kind of service they won’t last long.
Best noodles.. My partner and I drove an hour tonight just so we could get some Noodle Johnny.
We have been here mulitple times before and not once have we been dissapointed.
Not only is their food cheap and tasty, their customer service is wonderful.
It really does pay to be nice.
The only downside to Noodle J is they dont deliver, if they did I would eat it every night.
Keep up the good work guys.
