Excellent food. One of the best in Melbourne. Considering the price is so reasonable one cannot ask for more. I visit regularly with Family and enjoy the food and the owner makes effort to speak to everyone .Great value for money.Highly recommended
Stopped here on the way back from Mornington Peninsula on a Sunday. Tried their all-you-can-eat for $15/person! What a steal. Pay at the counter upfront, get a plate and savour over anything in the Bain Marie.
Heaps of curries meat and veg, rice and you can have naan or dosa freshly made. Im told desserts change often, we had watermelon and rasmalai which I skipped (I prefer gulab to rasmalai). Thing about the curries is each one was thick gravy with a deep authentic flavour. This is amazing given that its buffet!
Busy place. Seats approximately 50 people at a time. No issues with service here despite the low prices and busy venue.
Its hard to find good South Indian food in Victoria – this ones a keeper
I have been to this restaurant thrice, once on a weekday and twice on weekends. It is mostly crowded on weekends. As it is located very far far away from the galaxy, oh sorry city, you get ample parking. All who visits the temple, if they want to visit nearby Indian grocery stores, they make their way to this restaurant so it not something that people will travel specially to this restaurant for food.
They have a lot variety in food but the hygiene level is very very low and needs a lot of improvement. Attitude towards customers has to be improved. Important thing is the food quality and serving time, these things has to be improved a lot. No comfortable seating, tables are usually not clean, so are the cutlery and crockery.
In short till I read a very convincing and positive review here, I’d be avoiding this restaurant.
