I’ve dined both at the Hillview restaurant and more casual Sandbox cafe frequently and have greatly enjoy my experience every time. Sandbox especially is fabulous with my young children in summer, they have outdoor games like giant jenga to keep them entertained plus lounge chairs and a great grassed area for running around. It’s a beautiful area to explore with playgrounds and walking/bicycle tracks everywhere. The food has always been great, especially the all day breakfast. The new Tuesday night dinner Taco menu is fabulous too and very well priced, or you can just order from the regular menu still. Highly recommend especially for families.
The place is beautiful the vibe not so much. The coffee and Eggs were quite average. I may have had High standards given the place. Wish my poached eggs were perfect
Excellent food, menu has plenty of variety , good range of wines and beers and attentive staff. Will certainly be returning. A quiet atmosphere where you can hear yourself think and great views over the golf course.
I’ve lived in sandhurst for over a couple of years now and have never been keen on the idea of having a meal or coffee at the clubhouse. Recently I’ve been for breakfast and lunch and dinner and surprisingly I’ve enjoyed every meal and the coffee is good (and I’m fussy about my coffee) As there is not much in the way of choice around the area I’m happy to have the clubhouse near by.
Love this place. We are regulars – the staff are always lovely, the menu is great, and the wine list extensive and well priced. I have loved everything I have ever eaten here.
