The chicken and chips here are always very well made. The price might seem a bit steep for some people (it has become quite reasonble over time) but you will notice that they do use high quality ingredients.
The service is sometimes a bit of a hit or miss. I say this because whenever I was served by some of the male employees, they always seems to be like in a rush, like they want to push you out the door as fast as possible (which I don’t understand why as they generally aren’t that busy). They would keep communication at lowest as they possibley can.
Like i said before, i would understand this if they were busy and in a busy environment, but that aren’t, so this just comes off as rude more than anything.
But what i find extremely disgusting is that they never show any eye contact. Like whenever I’ve gone to order, they always seems to be looking around the store (which I dont understand why because I’m the only customer there) or they are looking outside the store.
At times I even played a little trick where I held out cash to pay, but the store employee is soo busy focusing on everything else but me that he would miss to grab it more than once. (Right now 4 times is the highest)
To be fair I was moving it around from place to place but if he was paying attention then he would know where the cash was.
The female employees are really nice, they know how to do their jobs better than the male counterparts.
The 2 stars I gave is seriously just out of generosity.

My fave local charcoal chicken place. Its clean, the people are friendly and the chips are amazing. Small chips will feed two people. Many a hangover was saved by this place
Chips are tasty, good amount of salt. Good stuff. But I ordered gravy on the side, gravy a bit average, didn’t have much flavour. Go for the chips
