Wonderful atmosphere, good food, friendly people.. Attended a recent photographic exhibition. Congratulations Muriel Sovar, and to think all the proceeds are going to the Fire Brigade. A better cause would be hard to find.
Perfect coffee stop before or after walk. Out for our sunday walk we headed for the goldfields area…..naturally after the long drive from melbourne we needed sustenance! the long black was perfect and my berry almond thing was devine….berries, a bit of cream and some sort of almondy bottom……k’s savioury muffin was also pronounced delicious….we,will most certainly be back.
Quirky Little Place!. Word seems to get around that this little place on the way out of town has amazing food on offer. The monk dish is so different and yummy I have dreams about it! The curry laksa is the best I have ever had! The cakes on offer are so beautiful its hard to know which one to pick! And as for the staff they are always friendly with a funny quirkiness that seems to suits the place.
Fantastic… Only ever had great food here, the Monks Dish is exceptional, the love cakes fantastic and have to say that I have never found the staff to be anything other than friendly and efficient.
Ideal Coffee Stop. Inviting Cafe on the outskirts of Castlemaine. Coffee good, staff were friendly & prompt, quaint interior, nice outdoor courtyard or some sunny tables on the pavement. Hope to get back there and eat – it smelt good! Worth having a stickybeak around the garden centre next door too.
Delish. This litlle place is a gem. often busy and crowded inside, it has the option of dining in the courtyard if you need some peace. waitresses are friendly and helpful with a whacky sense of humour-some customers seem to have mistaken this for rudeness. i think they need to get off their perches and get into country mode! food is top rate and great value for money. coofee is perfect. always a delight.
Nice food in a fresh garden setting, nice if you can get some sun outside! However by far the rudest staff ive experienced in quite some time! Please find some energetic, friendly, funky faces to run front of house as the food deserves it! bad experiance
