This is a fantastic pub. The menu has a few of your pub staples but also some interesting dishes, so there is something for everyone. Today I had the rice bowl. Magnificent. Have been there a couple of times now and the staff are always friendly and the beer is very cold. What more could you want? Pub has really nice feel to it. Keep up the good work!
nice place to bring the family on a friday. meals were of a decent size and reasonably priced. the food did take a bit long to come out. but all up a good experience.
The bridge hotel is hidden off the main streets and is a really cool place with a chilled vibe. Food is solid and the service was top notch! Hence the 5 stars.
Absolutely love it here. Staff are really friendly and food is fantastic. Had the chicken parma with kangaroo ham. Amazing! All their food looks great and everyone else loved it too.

We Heard a couple of good reviews from The locals so we made an effort to dine there with high expectations. Sadly our experience was soured by the owners arrogant & nonchalant manner when we asked to exchange a somewhat off tasting glass of red wine for a pot of tap beer to which he blatantly refused. We ordered it so we had to pay for it! The other staff was more sympathetic & apologized for his behavior. To think we chose this venue out of all the fine establishments we could have gone to in Castlemaine but if we had not walked 30 mins to eat there and had not already ordered our food, we would have left. We won’t be back there!!
