Stopped by here for a quick meal while waiting for a train and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food as well as the value.
My chosen meal was a bowl of udon served with pork gyoza by the side. The gyoza were perfectly cooked, nice technique to achieve the crispy underside whole retaining a nice soft dough on top. The noodle broth was warm and hearty with lots of flavour, which complemented the strong flavour of the gyoza.
I ordered a Latte it was beautifully made, smooth and cream, with a nice robust bitterness from the beans used. Not that watered down brown water that you can sometimes get from places.
I’m no interior designer, but I quite enjoyed the more caf aesthetic that the venue held. Nice open floor, high ceiling and spacious seating. Service was prompt and friendly, much appreciated for a busy university student like myself. It’s always great seeing a nice and friendly working environment where staff are chatting and laughing together.
Highly reccomend it to other students in the area. Overall, great value for a great meal.
