Very popular and busy place because its in Caulfield station and besides Monash university, many uni students come down for lunch and dinner. The price is reasonable, I always visited there when I was studying in Monash. Come back again after 1-2 years, ordered an rice octopus, its way much tasty then before, and the octopus is so big and chewy, sooo yummy! And the staff and Korean boss are also friendly

The minimum$20spend on card is annoying. Explain this phenomenon to The Dear Luncher. Is there some bank fee that prevents establishments from being reasonable on this? Stop it.Ridiculous.
The rice accompanying the hot pot chicken teriyaki was clumpy and lifeless. C’mon. Rice, it’s easy.
There was a strong and noticeable fish smell that hit the face when the dish was served up. Not the first smell you want when ordering a chicken dish. The juice the chicken was embedded in, had a strong and noticeable fishyness to it..not cool.
Teriyaki chicken? More like chicken delivered in a non-descript broth/pool of something. Nothing teriyaki about it at all. The chicken itself, just little giblets of chicken, low grade cuts. Just a platter of disappointment.
The kimchi was bland and lifeless. The slaw, completely lifeless. The dressing was lacking in zest and character.
Yes, we are in a university zone here, but the level of disappointment was high. Served up on school canteen grade trays, it’s hard to see where the appeal is here.
Oh well, at least the uber ride home was quality.
